Rita Mae Pleasant and Raymond Chatman announce the engagement of their daughter, Chasity Yvonne Chatman to Michael Bruce Nicholas, son of Joyce Taylor Nicholas and the late Bruce Park.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 6 p.m. ceremony Aug. 30, 2008 at Gonzales Civic Center. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dahlia Pleasant of Donaldsonville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Gertie Taylor and Shedrick Taylor, of Donaldsonville, and the late Soloman and Ethel Mae Pack. He is a 2000 graduate of Donaldsonville High School. He is employed by Ascension Parish Public Works Department.
Family and Friends are invited to attend and a reception will follow the wedding at Gonzales Civic Center.
