Early voting for the Dec. 10 General Runoffs Election will continue through Saturday, Dec. 3.

Early voting has become an avenue that many voters take advantage of because it gives the voter seven days to decide their ballot and come and vote in person at the Registrar of Voters offices in either Gonzales or Donaldsonville.

The website GeauxVote.com provides a sample ballot for each district in efforts to expedite the voting process by preparing voters. The website is also available as an app that can be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet.

Early voting is conducted in the Registrar of Voters offices in Gonzales at 828 S. Irma Blvd., room 205 and in Donaldsonville at 300 Houmas St., suite B. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters must bring their photo identification.

For more information, voters may call the Registrar of Voters offices at (225) 621-5780 (Gonzales) or (225) 473-7906 (Donaldsonville).
