I could not allow this day to go by without sending my personal thanks to ALL of you who made last night truly memorable. The number on the scoreboard hurts and it should when you invest yourself mentally, physically and emotionally. We salute our coaching staff and players for leaving it ALL out on the field. The game last night for me was an example of life's journey and in some ways spoke to this DHS week of highs and lows. We laid to rest a DHS family member (Marquette) on Monday and welcomed back an alumnus (Sullivan) with excitement on Thursday. As principal of DHS, last night was one of my proudest moments. These pictures capture only a glimpse of what I witnessed-TEAMWORK!!!!!!! Big shout out to the band, dance team, cheerleaders, flag team, staff/game workers (front gate was off the chain!!!), sheriff's department, staff who attended w/family/friends, face painters, mascot, sports med, breast cancer survivors.............
