Detectives are still actively searching for Peter Richard Henderson
Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley reports the arrest of Dwayne Junior, Jr. in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Donaldsonville. Two other suspects, one unidentified, remain at large.
On the evening of January 4 at 11:05 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an address off of Hwy 405 in reference to an armed robbery. According to the victim, he was met by three armed suspects as he was returning home from work. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns and one was armed with a shotgun. The suspects demanded the victim’s cell phone and pass code, in which he complied and gave them his belongings. The suspects also stole items from an unlocked vehicle on the property.
The suspect armed with the shotgun was recognized as 18-year-old Dwayne Junior, Jr. The second suspect was recognized as 19-year-old Peter Richard Henderson. The third suspect’s identity is still unknown. An arrest warrant was obtained on Dwayne Junior, Jr., who was arrested on January 8. An arrest warrant was also obtained on Peter Richard Henderson. Detectives are still actively searching for Henderson and any information regarding the unidentified suspect.
