Recruiting Battalion is now available through Apple Podcasts, iTunes, Stitcher, SoundCloud, Spotify or any podcast app and free to download.

“We are really excited to bring this podcast to life,” said Lt. Col. Eric Saulsbury, Baton Rouge Battalion Commander. “It is a chance for anyone to listen to a recruiter about the recruiting process, what life is like in the Army, and what your options are to serve.”

First to Strike is a weekly podcast featuring in depth interviews with Recruiters, Future Soldiers, Civilians and Veterans who provide insights into what it means to serve in the U.S. Army.

“This is a great way to get information about the Army before talking to a recruiter,” said Saulsbury. “Parents, teachers, coaches and mentors can also listen and share the information on the podcast. We hope that this will inspire our young men and women to serve and feel comfortable approaching a recruiter, already armed with information.”
