Stolen in one of the vehicle burglaries was a Smith and Wesson, M&P 15, AR15 style semi automatic rifle like the one pictured above. Three younger-looking males were observed on video surveillance.

The Gonzales Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance with obtaining information on a recent string of unlocked vehicle burglaries in Kennedy Heights Subdivision and South St. Helens Way Avenue.

The burglaries occurred during the night of Saturday August 18, 2018 and again during the early morning hours of Tuesday August 28, 2018.

Stolen in one of the vehicle burglaries was a Smith and Wesson, M&P 15, AR15 style semi automatic rifle like the one pictured above. Three younger looking males were observed on video surveillance walking on South St. Helens Way Avenue pulling on car door handles when these crimes were occurring.

Investigators have currently exhausted all leads in an attempt to take this rifle out of the hands of the criminals that stole it. We ask that anyone with information about the whereabouts of this rifle or can identify the subjects pictured in the provided video surveillance, to call Crimes Stoppers or the Gonzales Police department at 225 647-9583.
