Council denies rezoning for alcohol sales

Donaldsonville, La. -
Councilman Anthony Huey, who voted against the change, said he felt the area should be rezoned to C2 commercial, which would allow alcoholic beverages to be sold because every restaurant in the city has a liquor license.
