Ruby Agnes Levy, a retired food service worker died on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was 95. A native and resident of Donaldsonville.
Visitation was held at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Donaldsonville on Saturday, January 21 at 9 a.m. until recitation of the Rosary at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Ayo E. Efodigbue. Interment was held in Ascension Catholic Cemetery.
Survivors include her three daughters: Lydia Levy-Washington, Louie Ann Levy-Hall, and Nadine Levy-Stewart, and one son, Leo F. Levy Jr. Three sisters: Evelyn Lefort Jacks and Eva Lefort-Soniea.
12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, J. Lefort and Evelyn Lotten Lefort, two brothers Louis P. Lefort, and Charles Lefort, one son, Arthur James Levy and a grandson Jimmie Dawson and husband Leo Felix Levy Sr.
