She is survived by Her children: Susan Briann & Dennis Williams, Baton Rouge, LA; Sharon Lynn & Ralph Johnson, (Melanie Johnson), Lafayette, LA; Joyce Ann & Vincent Blanson, Houston, TX; Marie Antoinette & Anthony Oliver (Anthony Oliver, Jr.), Newport News, VA; Martha Ann Banks (Janiia R. Banks & Monet’ Z. Banks), Gonzales, LA; Tyrone Elphage & Fiancée Veronica Watts (Omari Elphage), Baton Rouge, LA; Adopted Children: Michelle Hatfield, Houston, TX; Eric White, Donaldsonville, LA; Miyoko Williams, Charlotte, NC; Davette Consonery, Birmingham, AL; God Son: Dylan Harvey; Sisters & Brothers: Ruby Helen White, Baton Rouge, LA; Lawrence Jordan, Bobby White & Terry White of Detroit, MI; Uncle: Lloyd Harris, Houma, LA; and a Host of nieces, nephews, and other friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Helen White & father Robert White, her grandparents Angeline and Emile Harris, step father Paul Comeaux and one sister Theresa Harris-Jones.
Services were held on December 10, 2011 at the New St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA and officiated by her pastor Rev. W. Marshal Myles, D.D. She was laid to rest at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, LA. The funeral services were handledand directed by Winnfield Funeral Home, also of Baton Rouge, LA
