Donnie Joseph Vaughn passed away at the early age of 57, on Thursday evening, April 22, 2010, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed many years as a Project Planner with Jacob’s Engineering and was a native of Donaldsonville. He will rest in peace with his mother, Eunice Vaughn; his father, Junius Vaughn; his brothers, Lloyd “L.J.” Gomez, David Vaughn, Jody Vaughn; and his grandson, Mason Guillory. His legacy will live on with his wife, Bonnie Vaughn; his brothers, Coy Gomez, Chris Vaughn, and Wade Vaughn; his children, Kim Guillory, Nancy Elfer, Jeremy Babin, Michelle Rodriquez, Jacey Babin; and his eight grandchildren, Dylan, Mya, Savannah, Kyler, Keaton, Destin, Jacob, and Dawson. Visitation was held at Ourso Funeral Home Gonzales on Monday, April 26 from 5 pm until 9 pm, and continued until Tuesday from 9 am until service time at 11 am.  Entombment was held at Hope Haven Mausoleum Gonzales.
