Pokemon Go, a Holocaust survivor story and ice cream experiment are what's on tap in November.

1. Pokemon Go: Stop by any Ascension Parish Library during the month of November and play Pokemon Go: Library Edition. Perform library related tasks to earn real gym badges and Pokemon bookmarks. If you earn them all, you will receive a special League Badge too.

2. Holocaust Survivor Story: On Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. the Gonzales branch is hosting the Holocaust survivor story of Sigmund "Siggy" Banks, a longtime resident of New Orleans. Learn about his life and struggle to survive.

3. Science of Ice Cream: On Nov. 28 at 4:30 p.m. the Donaldsonville Library is hosting an ice cream party. Tweens can make their own ice cream using milk, sugar and vanilla, along with provided materials to learn about the science behind the dessert. This program is designed for tweens in grades fourth through eighth.
