During the week of November 6-November 10, 2017, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, Parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James.

Ascension Parish:

1. Rebecca Donely, 16935 Watkins Rd. Denham Springs, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

2. Christopher Villa, 39410 North Woodrun Cir. Gonzales, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

3. Hunter Moticheck, 42245 Moody Dixon Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 19, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Simple Battery. On the charge of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, the defendant was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. On the charge of Simple Battery, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail with credit for time served. It was ordered that the imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another.

4. James Colbert III, 1010 N Sears Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Monetary Instrument Abuse and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On the charge of Monetary Instrument Abuse, the defendant was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. On the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, the defendant was sentenced to 30 days in the parish jail with credit for time served. It was ordered that the imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another.

5. Eric Stallard, 315 E Hamilton St. Gonzales, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Theft Over $750, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count, to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation.

6. Cheri Breard, 13074 Roddy Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 44, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (3 counts) and was sentenced to 24 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

7. Aaron Beyl, 22578 Walker South Rd. Denham Springs, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Simple Burglary, Simple Criminal Damage to Property Over $500, and Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count, to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 2 years supervised probation.

8. Leon Chenevert, 32494 Hwy 943 Donaldsonville, LA., age 38, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

9. Drake Smith, 41021 Chick Duplessis Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 23, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Theft of Goods Valued at Less than $500. On the charge of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, the defendant was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. On the charge of Theft of Goods Less than $500, the defendant was sentenced to 6 months in the parish jail with credit for time served. The imposed sentences are to run concurrent with one another. It was further ordered that the said sentence is to be suspended, and the defendant is to be placed on 18 months supervised probation.

10. Glen Keating, 43075 Earl Bercegeay Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 11 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

11. Virginia Villarreal, 47021 Hwy 22 St. Amant, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

Assumption Parish:

1. Katie McKee, 6695 Hwy 1 Belle Rose, LA., age 19, pled guilty to Possession or Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisianan Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

2. Drake Domingue, 5209 Bayouside Dr. Chauvin, LA., age 46, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

3. Caleb Guerrero, 203 Brashear Ave. Morgan City, LA., age 26, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

4. Lionel Mitchell, 121 Freetown Lane Labadieville, LA., age 54, pled guilty to Violation of a Protective Order and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

5. Derrick Johnson, 357 Hwy 400 Napoleonville, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Simple Criminal Damage to Property over $750 and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

6. Daniel Plaisance, 119 Claiborne St. Pierre Part, LA., age 28, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

St. James Parish:

1. Preston Roussel, 505 N Magnolia St. Gramercy, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
