Donaldsonville Rotary Club
Rotarian Marvin Gros, fundraiser chairperson of the Restore the Convent was the program’s coordinator at this past week’s Rotary Club meeting.
Sandy Pizzaloto, outgoing Principal at Ascension Catholic High School and the incoming Principal John Beck, Sr. presented the club with information of the restoration project of the convent. Preserving the convent is not only an asset to the school, but it is an important part of history to the city of Donaldsonville.
The Donaldsonville Rotary Club hosts its meetings on Thursday at noon at Cafe Lafourche, 817 Veterans Blvd., Donaldsonville.
