L'Rae Celestine, age 7, set up a lemonade stand in Donaldsonville after new law took affect Aug. 1 stating that children would not be fined for selling items without a permit.
"I'm glad I don't have to wait anymore for Lemonade Day once a year," Celestine said. "Now I can do it more often!"
Celestine was working to earn her first Girl Scouts patch as a brownie - money management.
