Entergy Louisiana, LLC employees from Labadieville have delivered thirty baskets to Assumption Council on Aging clients over the past couple of weeks. Entergy provided a $1,500 grant to the Assumption Council on Aging for this initiative. Entergy’s Labadieville employees assembled the baskets and delivered them to seniors that were identified by the COA. The baskets contained blankets, washing detergent and other household items.

“We were excited when Entergy contacted us about doing something that could help out our seniors. This is a tough time of year for many of our clients, and this really helps them out," said Angele Authement, Assumption Council on Aging Executive Director. "We really enjoyed putting the baskets together and visiting with the seniors when we delivered them in the community. These types of initiatives are very important to the employees at Entergy,” said Entergy’s local customer service manager Deanna Lafont.
