Other speakers included Senator Ed Price, Representative Ken Brass, Mayor Leroy Sullivan, Captain Darryl Smith and Councilman Lauthaught Delaney, Sr. Special thanks to Wanda August and Rev. Charles R. Brown, Sr. for hosting this event.

Rotary members were excited to hear the potential plans for the old visitor’s information center, aka B Lemann Building. The guest speaker for last week was Kathy Laborde, President and CEO of Gulf Coast Housing Partnership from New Orleans. Accompanying Kathy was her Project Manager, David Harms and Chad Ortte the property developer. They spoke in regard to the project being proposed to the City of Donaldsonville. If all goes well, this project will be very beneficial for everyone involved.
