Once in a lifetime
Last week, a historical day passed. It was December 12, 2012 (12/12/12), the last time we will ever see a date like that. With that being so significant, Craig Haynes decided it should be the day he cherishes forever. So, on 12/12/12, Haynes said, “I do” and married Katina Renee’ Williams.
To some it might be a little sappy to choose a day like that, and even sappier for a guy to think of other ways he and his lady-love have in common with the number 12. Haynes didn’t see it that way. What he did see was the last digit of his birth year, Williams’ birth year and their son’s birth year added to total 12. It’s also fair to mention that the 12th day of December is also Haynes’ birthday.
“I’ll never see that day ever again. It only comes once in a lifetime,” Haynes said after he wed Williams after being together for nine years. “I love it man, it’s blessed day. I got a wife, it’s all good and I can’t complain. Nine years strong.”
For Williams, she didn’t have much to say other than, “You won’t ever have consecutively the month, the day and the year again,” she said at the wedding’s reception at Palazzo Bernardo’s in Donaldsonville.
She also said their pastor counseled them on the significance of the number 12 in the Bible. “And he said it’s remarkable.”
Haynes added, “I’m glad to be married now let’s get it in.”
