Camryn Castrogovannie, daughter of Blaine and Trish Castrogovannie and a third grade student at Ascension Catholic Primary School, recently exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Steer at the 2015 LSU Ag Center Livestock Show.

Camryn and her 1,319-pound steer, named Jack, were evaluated against competitors from all over Louisiana by Chad Holtkamp of West Point, Iowa.  Camryn and Jack are no strangers to winning banners, in October they captured the Grand Champion Prospect Steer honors at the State Fair of Louisiana in Shreveport.

Other titles along the way included Grand Champion Market Steer of the Ascension Parish Livestock Show and Grand Champion Market Steer of the South Central District Livestock Show.
