Lowery boys take part in character event

The Young Men of Character Program visited Lowery Elementary School on Jan. 29. The program, designed to mentor and encourage boys to grow into respectable young men, hosts similar events in various parishes. The guest speakers for the Lowery event were  East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Kip Holden, FBI Agent Deron F. Ogletree and Baton Rouge General hospital administrator George Bell.
