Spencer, as he is known, graduated from LSU Law School in May, and will work at Long & Long as a clerk until he completes the Bar exam. Grandfather, Glynn Long, graduated from LSU Law School in 1950 and father, Charles Long, graduated in 1982.

Glynn Long started the law firm in 1950 and practiced law until his election to the 23rd JDC in 1991. Charles Long took over the firm when his father was elected judge.
