Lowery hosts All-Star Behavior Bash

School News Report

Lowery Elementary School held its first behavior bash of the 2016-2017 school year to celebrate students with no disciplinary referrals for the month of September.

Three professional baseball players - Cody Hall, Frazier Hall and Jake Waguespack, along with the head coach of Southern University’s baseball team, Roger Cador, came out to help support the “All-Star Behavior." The players and coach worked with over 200 students on batting and fielding and also discussed the importance of positive behavior and having a growth mindset.

The staff at Lowery Elementary School said they want their students to understand that their abilities can be fostered through hard work and dedication just as the players and Coach Cador represented.

The next bash will be held in late October and the school is expecting an even better turnout after such a successful event.
