State Fair awards Ascension students scholarships

The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair awarded its 2016 Baton Rouge State Fair Foundation Scholarship recipients this month. Among the recipients are two students from Donaldsonville - Tamiko Terraz Stroud, a senior at Donaldsonville High School and Paige Joseph, a senior at Ascension Catholic High School.

Three other students from schools in Ascension Parish were awarded scholarships. Those students are Kamryn Robinson (Dutchtown High School), Alicia Lejeune (East Ascension High School) and Jason Rusk (St. Amant High School).
