Carnival Time: Preparations underway for Krewe of Elks Ball

Preparations are underway for the 84th annual Donaldsonville Krewe of Elks Mardi Gras Ball. This event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Assumption Parish Community Center beginning at 7 p.m.

This year’s ball chairmen, Jessica and Stephen Folse, promise an evening filled with merriment and pageantry as they present “Under the Big Top.”

Pages and Heralds for this year’s ball are Bella Katherine Crochet, daughter of Past Exalted Ruler Micah and Tammy Crochet; Charli Elizabeth Dugas, daughter of Neal and Marcel Dugas; Evelyn Louise Landry, daughter of Peter and Lauren Landry; Hollyn Reece Truxillo, daughter of Josh and Kimberly Truxillo; Kohen David Folse, son of Stephen and Jessica Folse; Hudson John Riche, son of Exalted Ruler Niles and Ashley Beck Riche, Queen of Elks 1996 and Ty Ruben Theriot, son of Brandon and Tiffani Theriot.
