reater Mt. Pilgrim BC Celebrate Pastor’s Seventh Anniversary

It was a beautiful setting of red, black and white, sparkle and shine as the Greater Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church honored Rev. Timothy Campbell Sr. for seven years of dedication. The evening started with a meet and greet hour, photos followed a delicious meal and ended with entertainment and an encouraging word from Rev. Kenneth Jackson of New Risen Star Baptist Church in Houma.

The audience enjoyed the laughs of entertainers Deacon 2 Say, Sister Lo and the Hosea Reddits and Family. Rev. and Mrs. Campbell were presented gifts by the church members. Lucky guest won door prizes and went home very happy after a night of good food, laughter and a heart filled word.

Pajama Story Time

At the monthly Pajama Story Time at the Donaldsonville library, the kids were entertained with stories read by Ms. Constance Watkins and Ms. Elizabeth Richardson. They then played “pin the bows on the bear” and made their own crafts, a sail boat that actually floats.

You are encouraged to bring your children to the next pajama story time on April 11 at 6 p.m.
