At the March 9 meeting of the Rotary Club, members were very interested in what was presented by Jordy Culotta and T-Bob Hebert from ESPN Radio 104.5 and 104.9 FM, the host of the morning show “Off the Bench” which airs mornings from 7 to 9 a.m. Listening to the stats of inside information of sports certainly keep the questions going from the audience.

They were the guest of Rotarian Ben Glueck.

Rotarian Sonny Graugnard’s guests at last week’s meeting were Donna Bahlinger and Morris Johnson with CF Industries. Johnson shared with the club that the Donaldsonville Nitrogen Complex is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of nitrogen-based plant nutrients used by farmers worldwide. This includes destinations such as Europe, South America and Asia. The products are shipped via pipeline, railroad, truck and barge and ship.

CF has been a part of the Donaldsonville community for 50 years. CF supports a number of nonprofit organizations, through both volunteerism and charitable giving. Did you know that “CF” was at one time called Central Farmers, and in later years it became just “CF”, and that it is the world’s largest nitrogen manufacturing site.
