 Arts, Crafts & Farmers Market: Beginning on April 1, and every first Saturday of the month after, the Farmer's Market will be at Louisiana Square from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Donaldsonville Downtown Live: The first free concert series of the year will be held on April 1 at Crescent Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Kicking off the first Downtown Live event of the year, and the Grand Opening of Crescent Park is King Paka Yea.Though bands have not yet been confirmed, in May the live performance will be Modern Contemporary, Jazz in August and Unplugged in September.

Lily's Tea Party: The third annual Lily’s Tea Party fundraiser for “team Lily Raffray” benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be held April 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Venue, 13475 La. 431, St. Amant. Lily is a St. Jude patient from St. Amant. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August 2014 at five years old. Advance reservations are $20 per person.
