Around Town: Music in the Park
Music in the Park
This past Saturday was the start of music in Donaldsonville Downtown Live @ Crescent Park. The turnout was great, biggest one so far that has attended. Louisiana was the featured band, playing the music that had everyone dancing with every song played. Age did not matter, as everyone was moving to the beat. The weather was beautiful, the sky filled with stars, a perfect night to enjoy and have fun. Everyone is invited to join in the fun every first Saturday of the month. The band kicks will be playing from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Next month’s event will be Saturday, April 7. Come mingle, laugh, dance and enjoy the fun at Donaldsonville Downtown Live @ Crescent Park.
It’s Market Time
The first “Market on the Square” was held last Saturday. Vendors were out selling a variety of interesting products. It’s FREE to participate, there is no fee to setup your table or display your product. Everyone is encouraged to come participate. Mark your calendar for the next market day scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. in Louisiana Square on Railroad Avenue in Donaldsonville, LA. Come out, shop, enjoy the park, and the beautiful weather.
