Sheriff Jeff Wiley awards scholarships to local grads

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce two high-school seniors who were awarded a $500 scholarship that can be used toward the cost of college tuition, fees, or books.

The 2017-2018 recipients are: Madison Marquette, Ascension Christian, and Zahria Victor, Donaldsonville High School.

These two students are the third and fourth recipients to receive this type of scholarship that was founded by Sheriff Wiley in 2016.
