The rain would not stop them from coming from near or far. DHS homecoming is always the place to be to see family and friends. From Lowery High, which later became Donaldsonville High, they were there enjoying the day and having fun even without the sun.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church Annual Women Day

The Mt. Zion Baptist Church celebrated their annual women day with the theme “Don’t Bury It Yet.” The speaker for the occasion was Minister Claudette Trench. A powerful message was shared of never giving up on what may appear to be dead in the sight of man. Because there is still life, according to God.
