Pastors Ikem and Robin Grigsby have been appointed the new pastors of Word of Life Church at 1701 Maginnis Street in Donaldsonville, La. Pastor Ikem and his family have been in this position since May 1, 2018. Former Word of Life Pastors' wives Mary Jane Delatte and Tracy Marquette know it was an honor to serve the Donaldsonville community and would like to see the community united around Pastors Ikem and Robin and the vision God has for the Word of Life family, the city of Donaldsonville, and the surrounding areas.

Ikem and his wife are both graduates of Rhema Bible Training College of Broken Arrow, Okla., and both have served in the ministry in multiple capacities since graduation. Before becoming the new pastors of Word of Life Church they served as missionaries to the nation of Kenya, Nigeria, and Central America. While on the mission field they were bible school directors and crusade and evangelism directors. They held crusade campaigns and assisted in church planting in the nation of Kenya. In addition to their time on the mission field, their ministry traveled the United States with an emphasis on seeing a generation on fire and living by faith for Jesus Christ.

Pastor Ikem and his wife Robin have been married for 18 years, and they have four children. The family is excited about this fresh opportunity to serve God’s people. In addition to the excitement of serving, Word of Life Church has the vision to see a community of believers Reflect Jesus and Reveal His kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. Service times for the church are 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.
