CPT Jacqueline “Nicole” Wigfall was promoted to Major during a promotion ceremony held Friday March 1 in Washington D.C. at the Pentagon.

Major Jacqueline “Nicole” Wigfall was born in Beaufort, South Carolina and raised in Napoleonville, Louisiana She enlisted in the United States Army in 2001. She attended basic combat training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Gordon, Georgia as a 25R, Multisystem Operator. She attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and received her commission through Augusta State University (ASU) ROTC program in 2008 as a Chemical Officer. In 2011, she was inducted into the Regimental Signal Corps Association and brandied as a 25A/Signal Officer.

Her assignments include Fort Huachuca, Arizona; Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; Fort Hood, Texas; Okinawa, Japan, Kitzingen, Germany; and Fort Gordon, Georgia. She has deployed to Iraq (2002) and Kuwait(2005; 2018).

Major Wigfall served as Sustainment Division Chief, for 3rd Regional Cyber Center-Southwest Asia; as the first female Signal Officer to activate a new division in one of five U.S Army Regional Cyber Centers globally supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation Resolute Support and Operation Spartan Shield. Wigfall also served as the Battalion S6 for 1-12th Infantry Regiment; Assistant S3 for 58th Signal Battalion; Executive Officer for 333rd Signal Company; and Platoon Leader Headquarters and Headquarters Company for 10th Garrison Area Support Group.

Major Wigfall’s military education included Chemical Officer Basic Leader Course, Signal Officer Basic Leader Course, Signal Captains Career Course, and Project Management Professional School. She is currently a student at Command and General Staff College at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Major Wigfall holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems Management (University of Mary Hardin-Baylor); a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biology (Texas Christian University) and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biochemistry (Augusta State University).

Major Wigfalll is married to Corey (United States Army, Retired.) and they have two children, Imani (age 15) and Caleb (age 7). She is the daughter of Mr. Huey P. Williams, Sr. (United States Marine Corps, Veteran) and Mrs. Elnora R. Williams. She is Goddaughter of Mr. Frank G. Davis (United States Army Retired) and Mrs. Gloria Davis (Department of Defense, Retired); and Yvonne Carcisse and God sister of COL Frank G. Davis (Fort Carson, CO).
