The Church of Donaldsonville partners with The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

On Tuesday, May 10, The Church of Donaldsonville began distributing food to the needy. Individuals must provide photo I.D., proof of residency, proof of income and proof of address. The second Tuesday of the month, individuals, last names A-L who meet the qualifications will be served, and those with last names M-Z will be served every fourth Tuesday. Distribution time is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Food bank organizers said they are excited to offer another location that is assessable for the community, and the demand is greater than anyone may think. The boxes were prepared and ready for pick when the individuals arrived and the process went by very quickly. Thank you for giving and helping our community.
