1-Attend a small landowner workshop:The Southern University Ag Center will hold a SmallLandowner Workshop on June 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in A. O. Williams Hall (SU Ag Center Building), 181 B.A. Little Drive in Baton Rouge. The workshop will feature experienced farmers and gardeners who will discuss the topics of edible landscaping, beekeeping, using cut flowers for income and raising backyard chickens, among other topics. 2- Go to a reptile show: The Repticon Reptile Show will be held at Lamar Dixon-Expo Center in Gonzales on June 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and June 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature a variety of presentations on reptile such as bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ball pythons and tortoises, to name a few.

3- Watch a local play: Ascension Community Theatre is showcasing the play Cinderella from June 30 to July 3 and July 7 to 10. Performances begin at 7 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays. For more information,
