Louisiana Track Dawgs capture medals at Governor’s Games

BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana Track Dawgs competed at the Governor’s Games on June 7 at LSU’ Bernie Moore Track Stadium.

More that 1,500 kids competed in the meet.

Athletes receiving medals were: Taylor Tripode, second place javelin (129-3), second place 100 hurdles (15.8) and  third place 200 hurdles (29.1); Dustin Zeringue, 3rd Place 300 meter run (1:31); Trey Capello, third place 3,000 (12:59); Zach Capello, third place 300 (12:46) and third place 1,500 (5:38); Caroline Zeringue, second place long jump (10-7) and second place shot put (13-3); Sera Daigle, third place shot put (11-6); Lauren Landry, second place 1,500 (7:36) and Gabrielle Daigle, second place discus (40-7).
