Pitre named Donaldsonville High principal

Esrom Pitre addresses the crowd at the Ascension Parish School Board meeting Tuesday night at East Ascension High School in Gonzales. The board named Pitre the new principal of Donaldsonville High School.

He earned a doctorate of education and human resource studies from Colorado State University in 2006. He received a master’s degree in education administration/supervision from Southern University in 2001.

After graduating from Colorado State in 2008, Pitre became an assistant professor and teacher quality enhancement field placement coordinator at Metropolitan State College in Denver.
