With several attempted meetings and countless phone calls and emails, AT&T have delivered their promise to its hundreds of customers in the Donaldsonville area.

AT&T is happy to announce our intention to have mobile broadband (3G) turned on and optimized in Donaldsonville as of late last week,” says Mike Barger, Managing Supervisor for AT&T Communications. “Our customers in Donaldsonville are very important to us and we’re excited to have launched 3G.”

In the last two weeks, network engineers have been hard at work on the network in Donaldsonville – installing the necessary equipment, performing electronic integration and then satisfying the various certifications in order to turn on 3G said Barger.

“We are happy to have this service now, said Mayor Leroy Sullivan.

Barger added that this network enhancement is part of their continuing network investment and ongoing efforts to drive investment and innovation to deliver the nation’s best, most advanced mobile broadband experience for customers.
