Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Honored with Brand Excellence Awards
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, a national network of independent Blue Plans, has honored Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana with a Brand Excellence Award for retaining the highest percentage of members year-to-year among similar plans.
“We are delighted to receive this honor,” said Mike Reitz, President and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana. “It underscores how strongly we feel about our members and how positively they are responding to our efforts to make quality, affordable care available to every Louisianian.”

Brand Excellence Awards honor Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies that excel in developing and enhancing the overall Blue Cross and Blue Shield brand. Awards are given to those Blue Plans that excel in attracting new customers, building loyalty with existing customers, expanding the brand into additional lines of products or services, and provider satisfaction.
