KKAY 1590 AM have recently added Evangelist Rosalind Dinean Davis, known as the Poetic Princess to their lineup.

Davis has been doing radio voice-overs for over two years.

“I started as a church announcer and started writing scripts for radio and TV commercials. I worked as an announcer for WPFC 1550 AM in Baton Rouge,” she said.

About her show

Her show, Good Morning Holy Spirit Ministry Broadcast is a Gospel program that stresses the need to acknowledge God first thing in the morning.

“The second we open our eyes to say Good Morning Holy Spirit, as we allow him to lead and guide us throughout our day,” Davis said.

“I want to encourage listeners to desire a closer walk with God as I share my heart and my own personal testimony. Giving God the Glory, the Honor and all the Praise. What a great way to start your day!”

 About her testimony

Davis is a two-year breast cancer survivor, a real estate broker, published author and playwright and a National Spoken Word Artist.

“This is who I am today but I have to stress that the road hasn't been easy,” she explains. “I was a teenage mother, teenage runaway, spent time in a battered women's shelter, suffered the lost of my first son when he was four months old, a series of broken relationships, diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1994, diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 in which I had to undergo surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and then in 2010 surgeries for reconstruction. I experienced being homeless and I know what it is to loose everything you own.”

“In 2001 I married a man unknowingly, that was HIV positive in 2001 that resulted in a divorce but to this day I still test HIV negative. I have been licensed in ministry since 1994. I travel across the United States sharing my testimony and telling of God's goodness and the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. By the Grace of God, I'm still standing. My life is living proof of God's restoration, rejuvenation and revitalization. My life went from Mixed Up and Messed Up to Fixed Up and Blessed Up, Surely, God is Able,” she said.

Davis has written three books of poetry, Writing On The Wall, poems for all occasions, first and second edition and Golden Teardrops, a dose of poetic love. They are all available on www.amazon.com.

She also has a spoken word CD entitled: Poetic Reflections, a poetic journey that's available on I-tunes, Rhapsody, and other outlets.
