Chamber holds joint luncheon

On last Thursday, the Ascension Chamber, along with the Donaldsonville Chamber held its annual joint luncheon at Palazzo Bernardo’s. Businesses and individuals who are members of both chambers joined for lunch and to hear guest speaker Sheriff Jeff Wiley.

Wiley spoke about what his department is doing to track criminals, and how his office is keeping the community safe. Sheriff Wiley honored a few deputies and other staff members who have been employed over ten years. He also honored fallen soldiers who have died in combat serving our country.
