Dville House receives donation

Staff reports

Recently the D'ville House Nursing Home received the donation of a sound system in memory of Jennie Latino Humphries and Ira Humphries.

The sound system, complete with speakers, microphone, and other capabilities will be used for entertainment and other programs for the residents at the D'ville House Nursing Home.  Until now, entertainers were required to bring in their own equipment such as microphones and other sound equipment.

This will make is much more convenient for the staff when hosting programs, parties and functions for the residents to enjoy.

Both eventually became residents of the D'ville House. Ira passed away in 2003 at the age of 76 and Jennie passed away in November of 2010 at the age of 89.
