Donaldsonville Vehicle & Residential Burglary Arrests

Ascension Parish Chief Criminal Deputy Tony Bacala reports multiple arrests following a two-week investigation into a rash of burglaries in Donaldsonville.

On January 16, 2012 the Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the rash of vehicle burglaries and one residential burglary that occurred in the area of Crescent Place Drive, Reynaud Drive, Ashland Drive, McManor Drive and Belle Alliance Drive.

On January 31, 2012, during the course of the investigation, detectives obtained information that Marcus Ester and Rredrico Turner were responsible for the burglaries.

As the investigation continued detectives subsequently obtained sufficient probable cause to arrest Ester and Turner. As a result of their arrest detectives were successful in learning additional information that led to arrest warrants being obtained on Andre Dunn, Stephone Solomon, and Deric Green.   

On January 31, 2012 Marcus Ester, 18, of 710 St. Patrick Street Donaldsonville, Louisiana was arrested and charged with one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, 13 counts of simple burglary of a vehicles, 6 counts of felony theft  and 1 count of felony criminal damage to property. He is currently incarcerated on a $35,000 bond that was set by Judge Thomas Kliebert.

On January 31, 2012 Fredrico Turner, 18, of 809 Pine Street Donaldsonville, Louisiana was arrested and charged with 1 count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, 13 counts of simple burglary of a vehicles, six counts of felony theft and one count of felony criminal damage to property. He is currently incarcerated on a $28,000 bond that was set by Judge Thomas Kliebert.

On January 31, 2012 Andre Dunn, 18, of 134 Evangeline Drive ,apartment 205, Donaldsonville, Louisiana was arrested and charged with 1 count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, 13 counts of simple burglary of a vehicles, 6 counts of felony theft  and one count of felony criminal damage to property. He is currently incarcerated on a $35,000 bond that was set by Judge Thomas Kliebert.

Ascension authorities are still searching for Stephone Solomon, 19, of 314 W. 10th Street Donaldsonville, Louisiana and Deric Green, 18, 1029 Sky Avenue Gonzales.
