Long withdraws from race

On Monday afternoon, Chuck Long announced he will drop out of the current race for the office of District Judge, Division “D” of the 23rd Judicial District.

“I would like to announce that I am formally withdrawing my candidacy for the office of District Judge, Division “D” of the 23rd Judicial District. I have decided that I am not ready to stop practicing law and close down our family law firm that has been helping people in our community for 62 years. I would like to thank each and every person who has helped me in this election. I will not forget what you have done for me. Thank you very much."
