Germain receives medal for scholarly achievements

President Nick J. Bruno of the University of Louisiana at Monroe presented Ascension Catholic Senior Bree St. Germain with a medal at the annual Scholars Celebration in Baton Rouge on March 5.

A dinner was served while deans, instructors, and other university leaders personally visited with South Louisiana students who have been accepted and are set to receive scholarship awards from ULM.

The celebration dinner and medal presentation was held to congratulate students on their outstanding academic achievements.

Germain plans to major in Pre-Pharmacy and attend ULM for Pharmacy school.
