Dancing for a Cause began in 2009 and each year its gets bigger and bigger.

Due to state budget cuts, organizations such as the ARC have had to help find ways to come up with extra money.

The mission of the ARC is “to enhance the quality of life for persons with disabilities and their families through services and advocacy that support choice, independence and dignity,” said event organizer Sharon Morris.

“We plan to raise over $100,000 this year for the July show.”
