D’ville Rotary donates to DHS Marching Band

At last week’s Rotary Luncheon, guests Dr. Esrom Pitre, Principal at Donaldsonville High School, and Jamal Washington, DHS Band Director, talked to the Rotarians about what has been going on at the school and with its band program and the direction in which it is progressing toward.

At the end of Pitre and Washington’s presentation, a motion was made to grant the band program with a check to help wherever necessary and is best fit for the students.
