Romel found, arrested

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Tony Bacala reports the arrest of Romel Julien, 27, of 123 Palm Drive of Donaldsonville who was arrested late yesterday evening in Donaldsonville. He was previously wanted for unauthorized entry of a dwelling, domestic abuse battery, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office authorities were alerted late last night after Julien caused another disturbance with his girlfriend at a local store in Donaldsonville.  A short time later, deputies located Julien at a home in Donaldsonville where he was arrested.

 He is currently incarcerated in the Ascension Parish Jail with no bond.
