RING ME!

The Ascension Catholic boy’s cross country team received its rings for winning the 1A State Championship Title last Tuesday during the halftime of the boy’s basketball game against Ascension Christian. Athletic Director Doug Moreau presented the team with the rings. The 2012 season made the second consecutive season the team was crowned as champs.

The team was led by Zach Capello, who won his second consecutive Individual State Championship with a time of 16:01, and Jesse Hood, who finished as State Runner-Up with a time of 16:13.

The teams’ head coach is Rocky Capello.
