Donaldsonville Crescent Park Design Community Meeting

Donaldsonville Chief

The City of Donaldsonville is finalizing plans to provide upgrades and improvements to Crescent Park.  Renovations are envisioned to include a new festival pavilion, a farmer’s market façade, improved lighting and seating, and new decorative paving.  These upgrades will renew the park as the gateway to the City of Donaldsonville from the Mississippi River for tourists and residents alike.  There is a meeting scheduled for Monday, June 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Donaldsonville City Hall. The meeting will give the public an opportunity to review the current preliminary plan and discuss options as to its development with City officials and members of the design team.  You are invited to attend the community meeting being conducted by SJB Group, LLC and the City of Donaldsonville to provide input on issues you feel are important to the development of this park facility.

The meeting facility is handicapped accessible.  Persons requiring special assistance due to a disability in order to participate in the public meeting should contact any member of the project team at least 5 working days prior to the meeting.
