Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Lt. Colonel Bobby Webre spoke to the Donaldsonville Rotary Club at its weekly luncheon at Café Lafourche last Thursday. Webre, the Chief of Criminal Operations, informed the club that the APSO will be “doing more” in the city. It had been noted that there have been 186 crimes against persons in Donaldsonville since March and the APSO will be working more hours and have special units installed to decrease those numbers and regain control of it.

The APSO urges the public to contact its office with any information at 225-621-INFO (4636) or by texting 847411, its anonymous tip line from any cellular device, or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP (7867). To be eligible for a cash reward, you must contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
