Gospel choirs from all across the south sang praises and worshipped at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center Saturday night as the Make It Happen Productions crew again brought reason to celebrate the good news.

Make It Happen Productions, known for hosting the annual Gospel in the Park celebration at Jambalaya Park, for the first time brought over a dozen gospel talents including, solos, quartets and full choirs to one place for an evening of praises.

The host for the evening was Darryl Hambrick and special host Seymore Brown, who kept the audience entertained with some laughs. Kelvin and Yvette Kinchen, the owners of Make It Happen Productions, have been bringing talents together in Ascension Parish and across the south region of the state.

Choirs came from as far as St. Tammany Parish and as near as Donaldsonville in the Ascension Parish backyard.

Make It Happen Productions' next event will be presenting a stage play entitled, "Deception and Betrayal" - a play written by Yvette Kinchen. The play is set for Jan. 4 at the 7 p.m. at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center.
